A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Get in touch with nature at Ile Saint-Louis and Paris Plage. Shop till you drop at Rue du Gros-Horloge and La Boulangerie. Venture out of the city with trips to Rouen (Gros-Horloge & Historial Jeanne d’Arc). There's still lots to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre, explore the world behind art at Atelier des Lumieres, admire the landmark architecture of Sainte-Chapelle, and see the interesting displays at Musee Rodin.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands to Paris is an approximately 4.5-hour train ride. You can also fly; or drive. While traveling from Amsterdam, expect somewhat warmer days and about the same nights in Paris, ranging from highs of 30°C to lows of 18°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 14th (Thu) early enough to catch the train to Lyon.

Lyon is a historical city with a vibrant cultural scene as the birthplace of cinema, the silk capital of the globe, and the second biggest Renaissance city following Venice.
Kick off your visit on the 15th (Fri): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Eglise Sainte Blandine, then get interesting insight from Tours, then explore the galleries of Musee d'Histoire de Lyon, and finally appreciate the extensive heritage of Vieux Lyon.
