Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Bring the kids along to Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Dive Finland Oy. Get some cultural insight at Temppeliaukio Church and Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Helsinki: Nuuksio National Park (in Espoo) and Sipoonkorven Kansallispuisto (in Vantaa). The adventure continues: pause for some serene contemplation at Helsinki Cathedral, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kamppi Chapel of Silence, admire the landmark architecture of Old Customs House, and wander the streets of Katajanokka.
