Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.

Traveling by flight from Tampere to Levi takes 5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and flight; or drive. Traveling from Tampere in January, things will get a bit cooler in Levi: highs are around -11°C and lows about -21°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Mon) to allow time to drive to Rovaniemi.
