Surrounded by a series of white sand dunes, Corralejo is tiny enough to explore on foot or bicycle.
On the 30th (Mon), get outside with Fuerteventura Fitness & Conditioning and then take in the dramatic natural features at Corralejo Dunes. On the 31st (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: kick back and relax at El Cotillo Beach & Lagoons and then identify plant and animal life at Parque Natural de Corralejo.

Traveling by flight from Edinburgh to Corralejo takes 8.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and flight; or do a combination of flight, bus, and ferry. Plan for much warmer temperatures traveling from Edinburgh in December, with highs in Corralejo at 24°C and lows at 19°C. One of the most lively and visited areas in the Canary Islands, Lanzarote’s largest city, Puerto del Carmen, is well-known for its vibrant nightlife and high concentration of bars and pubs.
On the 1st (Wed), see the interesting displays at Fundacion Cesar Manrique, Head underground at Cueva de los Verdes, and then explore the striking landscape at Timanfaya Nationalpark. On the 2nd (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get great views at Mirador Del Rio and then take in the waterfront activity at Puerto deportivo Marina Rubicon.
