Founded in 1535 by Spanish explorer Francisco Pizarro, Lima represents an interesting blend of modern attractions and preserved colonial architecture, much of it clustered in the World Heritage-listed city center.
Start off your visit on the 15th (Sun): stop by Dedalo arte & artesania, then take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, then see the interesting displays at ChocoMuseo, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of San Pedro Church (Iglesia de San Pedro). On the 16th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: wander the streets of Miraflores, contemplate the long history of Huaca Pucllana, then get engrossed in the history at Museo Larco, then pause for some serene contemplation at Iglesia y Convento de San Francisco, and finally ponder the design of Plaza de Armas (Plaza Mayor).

Bogota, Colombia to Lima is an approximately 3.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Bogota in December, things will get somewhat warmer in Lima: highs are around 28°C and lows about 22°C. You will have some time to spend on the 17th (Tue) before leaving for Nazca.
