On the 13th (Wed), kick back and relax at Nagata Inakahama and then take in breathtaking views at Shiratani Unsuikyo Valley. On the 14th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: examine the collection at The Yakushima World Heritage Conservation Center and then explore the wealth of natural beauty at Yakusugi Land.

You can do a combination of flight and taxi from Tokyo to Yakushima-cho in 6 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train, flight, and taxi; or do a combination of flight, ferry, and car. In November, Yakushima-cho is a bit warmer than Tokyo - with highs of 24°C and lows of 18°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 14th (Thu) early enough to travel to Hiroshima.

You can do a combination of taxi, flight, and train from Yakushima-cho to Hiroshima in 4.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of taxi, ferry, and train; or do a combination of car and ferry. Traveling from Yakushima-cho in November, things will get a bit cooler in Hiroshima: highs are around 20°C and lows about 11°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 17th (Sun) so you can travel to Ishigaki.
