Kick off your visit on the 10th (Fri): shop like a local with Ginza and then take a stroll through Odaiba District. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: make a trip to Yokohama Chinatown, thenstroll through Odaiba Kaihin Koen (Odaiba Seaside Park), thenappreciate the extensive heritage of Imperial Palace, and finally admire the landmark architecture of Tokyo Central Railway Station.

Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and Kinkaku-ji. Head to Nishiki Market Shopping District and Asahiyakifor some retail therapy. Take a break from Kyoto with a short trip to Seta Golf Course North Course in Otsu, about 40 minutes away. You can take a train from Tokyo to Kyoto in 3 hours. Other options are to fly; or drive. In May, plan for daily highs up to 29°C, and evening lows to 17°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 18th (Sat) early enough to catch the train to Osaka.
