Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Samurai Armor Photo Studio and Ashikaga Flower Park. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Tokyo: Yokohama Port Osanbashi International Passenger Terminal (in Naka), Kamogawa Sea World (in Kamogawa) and Enoshima Island (in Fujisawa). There's still lots to do: don't miss a visit to Meiji Jingu Shrine, admire the masterpieces at Nezu Museum, steep yourself in history at Nezu Shrine, and enjoy breathtaking views from Tokyo Metropolitan Government Buildings.

Vilnius, Lithuania to Tokyo is an approximately 15.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight; or do a combination of bus and flight. The time zone difference moving from Eastern European Time (EET) to Japan Standard Time (JST) is 7 hours. Expect a bit warmer temperatures when traveling from Vilnius in June; daily highs in Tokyo reach 30°C and lows reach 22°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 29th (Sat) early enough to travel to Kyoto.

The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Discover out-of-the-way places like Walking tours and Kennin-ji Temple. There's lots more to do: contemplate the long history of Kiyomizu-dera Temple, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Ninna-ji Temple, don't miss a visit to Sannenzaka Ninenzaka, and take a stroll through Gion.

Take a train from Tokyo to Kyoto in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or drive. In June, plan for daily highs up to 32°C, and evening lows to 22°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 2nd (Tue) early enough to travel to Ishigaki.

Ishigaki, the most populous island in the chain, features the country's southernmost city and acts as a transport hub for exploring the landmasses that surround.
Explore hidden gems such as Yonehara Beach and Tamatorizaki Observatory. The adventure continues: visit a coastal fixture at Cape Hirakubozaki, Head underground at Ishigaki Island Limestone Cave, stroll through Kondoi Beach, and contemplate the waterfront views at Kabira Bay.

Traveling by flight from Osaka to Ishigaki takes 5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and flight. Traveling from Osaka in July, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be a bit warmer in Ishigaki, with lows of 32°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Fri) so you can ride a ferry to Iriomote-jima.

You can ride a ferry from Ishigaki to Iriomote-jima in an hour. In July in Iriomote-jima, expect temperatures between 38°C during the day and 32°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 7th (Sun) early enough to catch the ferry to Miyakojima.

Getting from Iriomote-jima to Miyakojima by ferry takes about 4 hours. In July, daily temperatures in Miyakojima can reach 37°C, while at night they dip to 31°C. You'll have a few hours on the 11th (Thu) to wrap things up before traveling home.
