Dublin

A history spanning over a thousand years, vibrant nightlife, and a mix of Georgian and modern architecture make Dublin a popular European tourist destination.
Shop till you drop at Grafton Street and James Joyce Cultural Centre. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Guinness Storehouse and Trinity College Dublin. There's still lots to do: steep yourself in history at Kilmainham Gaol, get a taste of the local shopping with National Gallery of Ireland, surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour, and walk around Phoenix Park.

Plan my Dublin trip by asking Inpirock to come up with tips and suggestions.

Johannesburg, South Africa to Dublin is an approximately 17-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train. The time zone difference moving from South Africa Standard Time (SAST) to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) is minus 2 hours. When traveling from Johannesburg in September, plan for slightly colder days and about the same nights in Dublin: temperatures range from 19°C by day to 10°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel to Achill Island.
