Nearly destroyed by war during the 1990s, the riverside city of Sarajevo now serves as one of the region's major educational, cultural, and commercial hubs.
On the 8th (Mon), take in the spiritual surroundings of Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, then take an in-depth tour of Museum Of Crimes Against Humanity And Genocide 1992-1995, then steep yourself in history at Sebilj Brunnen (Fountain), and finally get engrossed in the history at War Childhood Museum. Keep things going the next day: trek along Vrelo Bosne.

Copenhagen, Denmark to Sarajevo is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Expect somewhat warmer weather when traveling from Copenhagen in July: highs in Sarajevo hover around 32°C, while lows dip to 16°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 9th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Dubrovnik.

Along the Dalmation Coast, the city of Dubrovnik has become famous for its pedestrian-only Old Town surrounded by fortress walls, and its historical heft has earned it World Heritage Site status.
Visit Sveti Jakov Beach and Srebreno Beach for some beach relaxation. Get a sense of the local culture at Cavtat Cemetery and War Photo Limited. Go for a jaunt from Dubrovnik to Cavtat to see Cavtat Seaside Promenade about 32 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: appreciate the extensive heritage of Lapad, get some thrills out on the water with a waterskiing or jet-skiing adventure, add some adventure to your tour with a kayaking and canoeing tour, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Dominican Monastery.

Traveling by car from Sarajevo to Dubrovnik takes 4 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and car; or take a bus. Traveling from Sarajevo in July, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be a bit warmer in Dubrovnik, with lows of 24°C.
