Located off of the Great Western Highway, Katoomba is the main hub of the City of Blue Mountains.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Lost Bear Gallery and Moontree. Get outdoors at Wentworth Falls and The National Pass. Change things up with a short trip to Norman Lindsay Gallery & Museum in Faulconbridge (about 32 minutes away). There's much more to do: stop by Teddy Sinclair, browse for treasures at Victory Theatre Antique Centre, and hike along The Giant Stairway.

Getting from Perth to Katoomba by combination of flight and train takes about 10 hours. Other options: drive; or take a train. You'll lose 2 hours traveling from Perth to Katoomba due to the time zone difference.
