The relaxing hilltop village of Ella benefits from a more temperate climate than much of the rest of country thanks to its high elevation.
Step out of Ella with an excursion to Lipton’s Seat in Haputale--about 1h 15 min away. There's still lots to do: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Little Adam's Peak, stay fit while traveling at Yoga Ella, take in the dramatic scenery at Ravana Ella Falls, and make a trip to Nine Arches Bridge.
