The oldest of Norway's major cities, Trondheim sits on the southern shore of one of the country's longest fjords.
You'll explore and learn at Kristiansten Fortress and Sverresborg Trondelag Folk Museum. Visit Church of Our Lady and Nidaros Cathedral for their historical value. There's much more to do: learn about all things military at The Armoury Rustkammeret, hike along Bymarka, see the interesting displays at Erkebispegarden (Archbishop's Palace), and stop by Bakklandet.
