The castle around which the city of Himeji has developed represents one of the best preserved in the country, and has been designated as a national treasure and a World Heritage Site.
Kick off your visit on the 21st (Fri): explore the historical opulence of Himeji Castle, take in nature's colorful creations at Koko-en, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Sumiyoshi Shrine. On the 22nd (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Jodoji Temple, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Ishino Hoden Oishi Shrine, take in the spiritual surroundings of Yoneda Taishiji Temple, then make a trip to Nishi no Maru Nagatsubone, and finally steep yourself in history at Nishi no Maru.

Shenyang, China to Himeji is an approximately 7.5-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive. The time zone difference moving from China Standard Time to Japan Standard Time is 1 hour.
