Official Hometown of Santa Claus
An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.Kids will appreciate attractions like Santa Claus Village and Santa Claus Office. Step out of the city life by going to Pyha-Luosto National Park and Syvasenvaara Fell. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Rovaniemi: Amethyst Mine Lapland (in Luosto) and Salla Museum of War & Reconstruction (in Salla).
