Kitzbühel is a small medieval town situated along the river Kitzbuhler Ache in Tyrol, Austria and the administrative centre of the Kitzbühel district. Bring the kids along to Grossglockner and Kitzsteinhorn. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Kitzbuhel: Vitalberg - Steinol Museum (in Pertisau), Zell am See (Lake Zell, Zell Am See, &more) and Achensee (in Maurach). There's still lots to do: take a memorable drive along Grossglockner High Alpine Road, head outdoors with Klammsee, stroll through Streif-Wanderweg, and get to know the fascinating history of Rattenberg - Medieval pedestrian zone.
