2 days in Yubari Itinerary

Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Mon): walk around Kuriyama Park, then make a trip to Kobayashi House, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Yubari Shrine, and finally take in the awesome beauty at Yubaridake. On the next day, take in the dramatic natural features at Coal Outcrop, take an in-depth tour of Coal Mining Museum of Yubari, see human ingenuity at work at Katsurazawa Dam, then contemplate the waterfront views at Katsurazawa Lake, and finally visit The Yellow Handkerchief.

If you are flying in from Finland, the closest major aiports are New Chitose Airport, Asahikawa Airport and Hakodate Airport. In July in Yubari, expect temperatures between 27°C during the day and 19°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 24th (Tue) so you can travel back home.
