Stratford-upon-Avon is a market town and civil parish in Warwickshire, England, on the River Avon, 101mi north west of London, 22mi south east of Birmingham, and 8mi south west of Warwick. Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Sun): get engrossed in the history at Tudor World, then take an in-depth tour of The Old Slaughterhouse Heritage and Arts Centre, then step into the grandiose world of Warwick Castle, and finally relax in the rural setting at Stratford-upon-Avon Butterfly Farm. Here are some ideas for day two: wander the streets of Hatton Country World, explore the historical opulence of Kenilworth Castle, then admire the masterpieces at The MAD Museum, and finally contemplate the long history of Holy Trinity Church.
