Uda is a city located in northeastern Nara Prefecture, Japan.The modern city of Uda was established on January 1, 2006, the towns of Haibara, Ōuda and Utano, and the village of Murō (all from Uda District).As of December 29, 2005, the city had an estimate population of 38,648 and a population density of 155.35 persons per km². Start off your visit on the 6th (Tue): take in the spiritual surroundings of Horyu-ji Temple, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Hase-dera Temple, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Muroji Temple, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Butsuryuji Temple. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 7th (Wed): take in the dramatic scenery at Akame Shijuhachi Waterfall, stroll the grounds of Ishibutai Tomb, then make a trip to Matabeezakura, and finally see the interesting displays at Kusuri no Yakata.
