Providenciales

— 1 night
The most commercialized part of the Turks and Caicos, Providenciales remains the islands' tourism heaven, boasting many resorts, hotel chains, and condominiums.
Kenard Cruises has been added to your itinerary. On the 24th (Thu), tour the pleasant surroundings at Coral Gardens Reef, then kick back and relax at Grace Bay Beach, and then don't miss a visit to Thursday Fish Fry. On your second day here, contemplate the long history of Cheshire Hall Plantation, get a new perspective on things with Kenard Cruises, then take a pleasant ride with a tour on horseback, and finally go for a walk through Turks and Caicos Map Mural.

To find where to stay, reviews, traveler tips, and tourist information, refer to the Providenciales road trip planning site.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiport is JAGS McCartney International Airport. In June, daytime highs in Providenciales are 89°F, while nighttime lows are 80°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 25th (Fri) early enough to travel back home.

Known as the location of one of the longest coral reefs in the world, Turks and Caicos offer scenic white-sand beaches, calm waters, and warm, sunny weather. Apart from the upscale resorts in Providenciales, which is known for its award-winning beach, the rest of the scenery remains mostly pristine and uncrowded. On a trip to Turks and Caicos, you can spend days lazing on a deserted beach, go island hopping, and enjoy a range of fun activities, from world-class snorkeling and diving, to hiking, sailing, deep-sea fishing, and bird-watching.
