Start off your visit on the 9th (Sun): take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mt. Gassan, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Ideha Shrine, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mt. Haguro, then contemplate the long history of Mt.Haguro- Dewasanzan Sanjin Gosaiden, then contemplate the long history of Hagurosan Five-Story Pagoda, and finally get to know the fascinating history of Mt.Haguro- Cedat Trees along the Approach. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: stroll around Tsuruoka Park, observe the fascinating underwater world at Tsuruoka City Kamo Aquarium, admire the masterpieces at Ken Domon Museum of Photography, then steep yourself in history at Sankyo Soko Storehouse, and finally walk around Hiyoriyama Park.
