Sado— 1 night
Experience remote island living in Sado, a city in Niigata Prefecture encompassing all of the inhabited areas of Sado Island.Kick off your visit on the 7th (Tue): contemplate the long history of Historic Relic Sado Gold Mine, stroll around Toki no Mori Park, then take a stroll through Shukunegi, and finally see the interesting displays at Sado Nishimikawa Gold Park. Keep things going the next day: contemplate the long history of Kitazawa Fuyusenkojo Remains, then explore the activities along Senkakuwan, then get to know the fascinating history of Onogame, and finally cruise along Osado Skyline.

If you are flying in from Thailand, the closest major airport is Niigata Airport. In April in Sado, expect temperatures between 17°C during the day and 9°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel back home.
