Astoria, named for famed fur trader John Jacob Astor, resides near the mouth of the Columbia River.
On the 6th (Sun), pause for some photo ops at Astoria Column, pause for some photo ops at Chief Comcomly Memorial, then immerse yourself in nature at Ecola State Park, and finally see the interesting displays at Seaside Inverted Experience. Keep things going the next day: get a taste of the local shopping with Bronze Coast Gallery, then explore the striking landscape at Haystack Rock, then kick back and relax at Cannon Beach, and finally relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas.
