Kongsberg is a town and municipality in Buskerud county, Norway.The city was founded in 1624 under the name Konings Bierg by Danish-Norwegian king Christian IV as a mining community. Start off your visit on the 27th (Thu): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Kongsberg Church, examine the collection at Norwegian Mining Museum, then admire the masterpieces at The Lagdal Folk Museum, and finally examine the collection at Labro Museums.
