2 days in Hakodate & Niseko-cho Itinerary

A gateway to the island, Hakodate has gained a reputation for its waterfront attractions, its proximity to some of the island's most popular natural sites, and its seafood.

On the 29th (Thu), take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Hakodate, don't miss a visit to Hachimanzaka, then don't miss a visit to Goryokaku Tower, and finally stroll through Goryokaku Park.

If you are flying in from Thailand, the closest major aiport is Hakodate Airport. In November, daytime highs in Hakodate are 10°C, while nighttime lows are 2°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 29th (Thu) to allow time to travel to Niseko-cho.

Ranking as the most popular ski resort in Hokkaido, mountaintop Niseko-cho boasts great slopes and surprisingly vibrant nightlife.

On the 30th (Fri), take an in-depth tour of Arishima Memorial Center, then fly down the slopes at Niseko Mountain Resort Grand Hirafu Ski Place, and then walk around Lake Hangetsu Nature Park.
