World Capital of Amber

Although its history goes back a thousand years, Gdansk represents one of Poland's most modern urban centers, its thriving economy boosted by a lively tourism sector.
Kick off your visit on the 30th (Thu): learn about all things military at Museum of the Second World War (Muzeum II Wojny Swiatowej), then take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Mary's Church, then take a stroll through Old Town, and finally get engrossed in the history at Europejskie Centrum SolidarnoSci. Here are some ideas for day two: take a stroll through Dlugi Targ Square, admire the landmark architecture of Golden House, admire the landmark architecture of Tczew Water Tower, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of the Holy Cross, then snap pictures at Tczew Bridges - Mosty w Tczewie, and finally admire the landmark architecture of Smock Mill in Tczew.
