London-by-the-Sea

Once a sleepy little fishing village, Brighton is a modern seaside town known for its Asian architecture and a large gay community.
On the 1st (Mon), admire the landmark architecture of Royal Pavilion, wander the streets of The Lanes, then visit North Laine, and finally make a trip to Farleys House & Gallery. On the 2nd (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: see the interesting displays at Wings Aviation Museum, examine the collection at Priest House, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Brighton Beach.

To see reviews, other places to visit, where to stay, and tourist information, refer to the Brighton travel route website.

London to Brighton is an approximately 1.5-hour train ride. You can also drive; or take a bus. In June, daily temperatures in Brighton can reach 22°C, while at night they dip to 13°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Tue) so you can catch the train back home.
