Famed for its landscape of unusually shaped stone formations and churches cut into the natural rocks, Goreme sits in the central part of the country, an area originally settled during Roman times.
Museum-lovers will get to explore Museu a Ceu Aberto de Goreme and Naile Art Gallery- Cappadocia Ebru Art Center. Goreme National Park and Cappadocia Cave Dwellings are good opportunities to explore the local culture. When in Goreme, make a side trip to see Derinkuyu Yeralti Sehri in Derinkuyu, approximately 38 minutes away.
