Situated in a basin between two mountain ranges, Taipei appeals to tourists with its blend of Asian cultures, living side by side amidst Japanese-era mansions and Taoist temples.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Raohe Street Night Market, Taipei Tea Promotion Center for Tieguanyin and Baozhong, Gondola Maokong Station, and other attractions you added. Do some cultural sightseeing at National Palace Museum and Datong Old Street. Taipei Confucius Temple and 228 Peace Memorial Park will appeal to history buffs. When in Taipei, make a side trip to see Shifen Waterfall in Pingxi, approximately 50 minutes away.
