Get out of town with these interesting Lucerne side-trips: Engelberg (Ski School Active Snow Team Engelberg & Titlis). As one of the country's oldest ski resorts, Grindewald serves as a prime example of a cozy Swiss ski town.
Step out of Grindelwald to go to Wengen and see Wengen Mannlichen Aerial Cableway, which is approximately 1h 05 min away.
