Nazaré is a town and a municipality in subregion Oeste and Leiria District, in Portugal.It is one of the most popular seaside resorts in the Silver Coast/Costa de Prata, Portugal. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Nazare: Obidos (Grande Mercado Medieval de Obidos, Castelo de Óbidos, & more) and Convent of Christ (in Tomar). There's lots more to do: see majestic marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour, make a trip to Forte de Sao Miguel, tour the pleasant surroundings at Praia da Nazare, and get great views at Monte de Sao Bartolomeu.

Drive from Lagos to Nazare in 4 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of bus and flight. Traveling from Lagos in August, expect Nazare to be slightly colder, temps between 30°C and 18°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Tue) to allow time to drive to Coimbra.

Called "Oporto" by many, the city of Porto along the Duoro River lent the country and Port wine their names. Portugal's second-largest metropolis dates back to the 4th century, representing both a rich cultural past and industrial present through its architecture and style.
Dedicate the 11th (Sun) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's lots more to do: take in the views from Ponte de Dom Luis I, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Porto Cathedral (Se Catedral), make a trip to Liberdade Square, and take a stroll around Palacio da Bolsa.
