The village of Zamami-son in the western Kerama Islands spans four of the islands in the group, one of which remains uninhabited.
Take a break from the city and head to Furuzamami Beach and Gahijima Sand Dune. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Nishibama Beach and Tokashiku Beach. The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Get in touch with nature at Nara Park and Yase Momiji no Komichi. Step out of Kyoto to go to Dotombori and see Dotombori District, which is approximately 1h 10 min away.
