Miyakojima

A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
Start off your visit on the 8th (Mon): enjoy the sand and surf at Sunayama Beach, paddle through the water with a kayaking and canoeing tour, then kick back and relax at Aragusuku Beach, and finally get outside with Yonaha Maehama Beach. On the 9th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get outside with Toguchi no Hama, snap pictures at Irabu Ohashi, then explore the gorgeous colors at Yabiji, and finally see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour.
