A lovely town easily accessible from almost anywhere in the country, Sorrento overlooks the Bay of Naples and sits right on the Amalfi Drive.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Sorrento: Parrocchia San Giovanni (in Vietri sul Mare), Paestum Ruins (in Paestum) and Amalfi (Fontana sant'Andrea, Cloister del Paradiso, &more). There's still lots to do: cool off at Fornillo, get great views at Il Sentiero Degli Dei, see what you can catch with a fishing tour, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Church of Santa Maria Assunta.
