Visit Takehara Townscape Preservation Area and Northern Fort Remains for their historical value. Step out of the city life by going to Okunoshima Island and Mt. Fudekage. Get out of town with these interesting Mihara side-trips: Takehara (Nagaura Poison Storehouse Remains, Okakae Jizo, &more) and Ikunoshima Island (in Osakikamijima-cho).

Tokyo to Mihara is an approximately 4.5- hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive.
