Step out of the city life by going to Jurmala Beach and Dzintari Forest Park. Museum-lovers will get to explore Latvijas Okupācijas muzejs and Riga Motormuseum. Change things up with a short trip to Rundāle Palace in Pilsrundale (about 1h 15 min away). There's still lots to do: wander the streets of Old City Riga (Vecriga), take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Peter's Church, see the interesting displays at Latvian Ethnographic Open Air Museum, and stop by Dzenis Amber.
