The tourist-oriented town of Quepos marks the entrance for many travelers looking to explore the nearby national park.
Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Dominicalito Beach and Playa Bejuco. Shop till you drop at Villa Vanilla / Rainforest Spices and Jungle Avenue. Venture out of the city with trips to Iglesia de San Jose de Orosi and the Museum (in Orosi), Palo Seco Beach (in Parrita) and Dominical (Parque Reptilandia, Mama Toucan's Natural and Organic Food Store, & more). Make the 31st (Fri) an awe-inspiring day at Naturalist Michael Araya Flores. Pack the 6th (Thu) with family-friendly diversions at Rancho Tipico Don Juan. There's still lots to do: stroll through Playa Matapalo, take a peaceful walk through Rio savegre Waterfall, soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers, and zoom along the surf with a waterskiing or jet-skiing adventure.

If you are flying in from Aruba, the closest major airports are Tobias Bolanos International Airport, Juan Santamaria International Airport and Limon International Airport. Cap off your sightseeing on the 8th (Sat) early enough to go by car to Monteverde.
