Looe is a small coastal town, fishing port and civil parish in south-east Cornwall, England, with a population of 5,280 at the 2011 census.Looe is 20 miles west of Plymouth and seven miles south of Liskeard, divided in two by the River Looe, East Looe and West Looe being connected by a bridge. Kick off your visit on the 25th (Sun): have fun and explore at The Old Sardine Factory Heritage Centre, stop by Seaside Sweets, then contemplate the long history of Old Guildhall Museum & Gaol, then go for a walk through Looe to Polperro walk, and finally make a trip to Trethevy Quoit. Here are some ideas for day two: see the interesting displays at Liskeard & District Museum, then make a trip to The Hurlers (3 stone circles), then identify plant and animal life at The Monkey Sanctuary, and finally don't miss a visit to Looe Island.
