Satisfy your inner culture vulture at El Barri Gòtic and Casa Mila - La Pedrera. Step out of the city life by going to Fenals Beach and La Barceloneta. Get out of town with these interesting Barcelona side-trips: Vila Vella (Old Town) (in Tossa de Mar) and Girona Cathedral (Catedral) (in Girona). Spend the 18th (Tue) among aquatic life with a scuba or snorkeling tour. Olot is the capital city of the comarca of Garrotxa, in the Province of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. Step off the beaten path and head to La Fageda d'en Jorda and Mirador del area recreativa de Xenacs. Get outdoors at La Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park and Bufadors de Bevi. Change things up with these side-trips from Olot: Sant Joan de les Abadesses (Ruta del Hierro y del Carbon & Gorg de la Malatosca) and Ruta del Ferro (in Ripoll). There's still lots to do: get impressive views of Volcan de Santa Margarita, view the masterpieces at Monasterio de Sant Joan les Fonts, and make a trip to Poch's Microcerveceria.
