Known as "Hollywood North," Vancouver boasts one of the largest film/television industries in the world, second only to Los Angeles and New York.
Attractions like Stanley Park and Granville Island make great kid-friendly stops. There's lots more to do: take in the views from Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, take in nature's colorful creations at VanDusen Botanical Garden, visit Gastown, and stroll through Kitsilano Beach.

Fort Frances to Vancouver is an approximately 16-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone changes from Central Standard Time (CST) to Pacific Standard Time (PST), which is usually a -2 hour difference. Expect a bit warmer evenings in Vancouver when traveling from Fort Frances in July, with lows around 17°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 25th (Sat) so you can go by car to Whistler.

Home to one of the largest ski areas in North America, former logging town of Whistler provides activities and entertainment for avid nature lovers and adrenaline seekers.
Start off your visit on the 26th (Sun): tour the pleasant surroundings at Harmony Lake Trail, then whizz through the canopy at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, and then see Off-Road Tours. Keep things going the next day: admire the sheer force of Alexander Falls and then contemplate the waterfront views at Lost Lake.
