Oviedo is the capital city of the Principality of Asturias in northern Spain and the administrative and commercial centre of the region. Visit Catedral de San Salvador de Oviedo and San Miguel de Lillo for their historical value. You'll get in some beach time at Playa de San Lorenzo and Playa del Silencio. Traveling from Milan in June, things will get a bit cooler in Oviedo: highs are around 22°C and lows about 16°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 3rd (Wed) early enough to go by car to Taramundi.

Colunga is a municipality in the Autonomous community of the Principality of Asturias, Spain. Get some historical perspective at Santuario De Covadonga and Santa Cueva de Covadognga. Escape the urban bustle at Lake Covadonga and Cuevona de Cuevas. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Colunga: Basilica de Santa Maria la Real de Covadonga (in Covadonga), Villaviciosa (Iglesia de Santa Maria de la Oliva & Tazones) and Cangas de Onis (Minas de Buferrera & Puente Romano). Traveling by car from Taramundi to Colunga takes 2.5 hours. July in Colunga sees daily highs of 24°C and lows of 18°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 11th (Thu) early enough to travel to La Franca.

You'll explore and learn at Cueva de El Pindal and Archivo de Indianos o Museo de la Emigracion. Take a break from the city and head to Playa de Torimbia and Beach of La Franca.
