Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Trinity Church, Statue of Liberty National Monument, Ellis Island, and other attractions you added. Kick off your visit on the 1st (Wed): contemplate the long history of Ellis Island, don't miss a visit to Statue of Liberty National Monument, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Trinity Church. Keep things going the next day: learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Bronx Zoo, see the interesting displays at New York Public Library, then see the interesting displays at 9/11 Memorial, and finally wander the streets of Times Square.

A major center for tourism and travel, Baltimore is famous as the city where amateur poet Francis Scott Key wrote the lyrics for the United States' national anthem.
U.S. Naval Academy and Historic Ships in Baltimore will appeal to museum buffs. Your inner history buff will appreciate Fell's Point and Saint Alphonsus Church. Get out of town with these interesting Baltimore side-trips: Annapolis Historic District (in Annapolis) and Diehl's Produce Market (in Severna Park). There's still lots to do: sample the fine beverages at Sagamore Spirit Distillery, take in the history at Fort McHenry National Monument, explore the world behind art at Baltimore Museum of Art, and get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at National Aquarium.
