Casablanca, Morocco to Istanbul is an approximately 6.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and shuttle; or do a combination of taxi and flight. The time zone changes from Western European Time to Eastern European Time, which is usually a 3 hour difference. Step off the beaten path and head to Güvercinlik Vadisi (Pigeon Valley) and Mazi Yeralti Sehri. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Goreme National Park and Naile Art Gallery- Cappadocia Ebru Art Center. Step out of Goreme with an excursion to Hacibektas in Nevsehir--about 1 hour away. There's lots more to do: get engrossed in the history at Museu a Ceu Aberto de Goreme, examine the collection at Guray Museum, don't miss a visit to Karanlik Kilise, and delve into the distant past at Özkonak Underground City.

A prosperous hub of tourism on the Mediterranean coastline, Fethiye boasts one of Turkey's finest natural harbors.
Get some historical perspective at Old Town and Patara Amphitheatre. Step off the beaten path and head to Patara Antik Kenti and Ancient Rock Tombes. Go for a jaunt from Fethiye to Kalkan to see Xanthos Antik Kenti about 54 minutes away. There's still lots to do: see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour and delve into the distant past at Pinara Antique City.
