Along the Dalmation Coast, the city of Dubrovnik has become famous for its pedestrian-only Old Town surrounded by fortress walls, and its historical heft has earned it World Heritage Site status.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Dubrovnik City Walls and Old Town. Popular historic sites such as Fort Lovrijenac and Church of Saint Blaise are in your itinerary. Change things up with a short trip to Cavtat Old Town in Cavtat (about 34 minutes away). There's still lots to do: wander the streets of Lapad, add some adventure to your tour with a kayaking and canoeing tour, head off the coast to Lokrum Island, and contemplate the long history of Stradun.
