The financial hub of Switzerland, Zurich is most often associated with money and banks.
Step off the beaten path and head to Old Town and Rhine Falls. Get a sense of the local culture at Altstadt Luzern and Uhrenmuseum Beyer Zürich. Explore Zurich's surroundings by going to Titlis (in Engelberg) and Lucerne (Mt Pilatus & Markuskirche). There's much more to do: wander the streets of Bahnhofstrasse, pause for some serene contemplation at Grossmunster, tour the pleasant surroundings at Strandbad Tiefenbrunnen, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Fraumünster Church.

Nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz in the heart of the Jungfrau region, Interlaken became popular for its proximity to the mountains and lakes of the Bernese Oberland region.
Get in touch with nature at Harderkulm and Jungfraujoch. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to UNESCO-Altstadt von Bern and Maennlichen. Step out of Interlaken to go to Grindelwald and see Grindelwald-First, which is approximately 58 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, take in the dramatic scenery at Trümmelbachfälle, get interesting insight from Tours, and explore the striking landscape at Aletsch Glacier.

You can drive from Zurich to Interlaken in 2 hours. Another option is to take a train. May in Interlaken sees daily highs of 20°C and lows of 8°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 1st (Mon) to allow time to drive to Geneva.
