You can do a combination of bus and train from Cusco to Machu Picchu in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 17th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Puno.

Hugging the western tip of Lake Titicaca, Puno serves as a melting pot of indigenous and imported cultures, and makes a great base for explorations around the region.
On the 18th (Wed), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Iglesia Matriz de Santa Catalina, then stroll the grounds of Sillustani, and then contemplate the long history of La Casa del Corregidor. Here are some ideas for day two: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Templo de la Merced, then browse the different shops at Real Plaza Juliaca, and then take a stroll through Luquina Chico.

A port town largely devoted to tourism, Paracas serves as a popular starting point for exploration of Peru's south coast.
Kick off your visit on the 21st (Sat): stroll through Playa de la Mina, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Playa El Raspon, then examine the collection at Museo De Sitio Julio C Tello De Paracas, and finally take in the exciting artwork at Pukasoncco, Arte Precolombino.. You can drive from Puno to Paracas in 14 hours. Other options are to do a combination of bus and flight; or take a bus. When traveling from Puno in March, plan for somewhat warmer days and warmer nights in Paracas: temperatures range from 32°C by day to 22°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Sun) so you can go by car to Lima.

Get some cultural insight at San Isidro and Iglesia y Convento de San Francisco.
