On the 12th (Wed), steep yourself in history at Former Japanese Navy Underground Headquarters, appreciate the extensive heritage of Okinawa Peace Memorial Park, thenexamine the collection at Haebaru Town Museum, thenexamine the collection at Okinawa Prefecture Karate Museum, and finally get a new perspective on nature at Okinawa Prefectural Museum and Art Museum. The village of Zamami-son in the western Kerama Islands spans four of the islands in the group, one of which remains uninhabited.
Step off the beaten path and head to Nishibama Beach and Takatsukiyama Observatory Deck. Relax by the water at Tokashiku Beach and Gahijima Sand Dune. Explore Zamami-son's surroundings by going to Tokashiki-son (Aharen Beach & Aharen Observatory). There's lots more to do: snap pictures at Aka Bridge, kick back and relax at Furuzamami Beach, and step off the mainland to explore Zamami Island.
