Dallas, USA to Osaka is an approximately 18.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of car and flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 15 hours traveling from Dallas to Osaka. In March, Osaka is little chillier than Dallas - with highs of 57°F and lows of 41°F. You'll have a few hours on the 1st (Mon) to wrap things up before traveling to Nara.

The country's first established capital, Nara houses some of the most storied buildings and natural attractions in Japan, with eight World Heritage Sites in total.

You can drive from Nara to Kyoto in an hour. Alternatively, you can take a train; or do a combination of train and subway. Expect a bit cooler evenings in Kyoto when traveling from Nara in April, with lows around 50°F. On the 3rd (Wed), you'll have the morning to explore before heading off to Sendai.
