Visit Asakusa Shrine and Nezu Shrine for their historical value. Get outdoors at Minoyama Park and Tsutsujigahara Fujizakura Colony. You can drive from Kyoto to Ise in 2 hours. Other options are to take a train; or do a combination of bus and train. When traveling from Kyoto in April, plan for slightly colder days in Ise, with highs around 19°C, while nights are a bit warmer with lows around 18°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 3rd (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Nachikatsura-cho.
