The castle around which the city of Himeji has developed represents one of the best preserved in the country, and has been designated as a national treasure and a World Heritage Site.
On the 1st (Fri), contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Ishino Hoden Oishi Shrine and then contemplate the long history of Yoneda Taishiji Temple. Keep things going the next day: admire the natural beauty at Koko-en Garden, step into the grandiose world of Himeji Castle, then steep yourself in history at Nishi no Maru, then see the interesting displays at Japan Toy Museum, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Jodoji Temple.

Luxembourg City, Luxembourg to Himeji is an approximately 18.5-hour combination of flight and train. You can also do a combination of bus, flight, and train.
